Council
The Ministry of Education and Culture appoints the Council for a four-year period. It makes decisions concerning policy, guiding principles, and the action plan. In addition, it decides on the Council's proposals to the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Council holds about eight meetings per calendar year. The members of the Council represent universities, universities of applied sciences, working life and student unions.
Secretariat
The daily functions of FINHEEC are operated by the Council Secretariat, which currently consists of 11 employees. It consists of Secretary General, three Chief Planning Officers, six Senior Advisers and an Administrative Assistant.
